RBI Junior Engineer (JE) Examination 2026: Short Details of Notification

Short Information: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the Junior Engineer
(JE) Recruitment 2026 notification for 11 posts in Civil and Electrical disciplines, offering a strong opportunity for
diploma holders to work with India’s central bank. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the
official RBI recruitment portal within the specified dates after ensuring they meet the required eligibility criteria,
including a diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering with relevant experience as per the post. The age limit
generally ranges between 20 to 30 years with relaxation for reserved categories as per rules. The selection process
includes an online written examination followed by a language proficiency test and document verification. Selected

Minimum 3-year Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronic Engineering from a recognized
institute/university/board with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR a Degree in Electrical or
Electrical & Electronic Engineering from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (45% for
SC/ST/PwBD).
At least 2 years of experience for Diploma holders OR at least 1 year of experience for Degree holders.
Junior Engineer (Civil)
Minimum 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute/university/board with at least
65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university with at least
55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
At least 2 years of experience for Diploma holders OR at least 1 year of experience for Degree holders.
