Short Information: The Indian Navy has announced the Short Service Commission (SSC) Executive Branch – Information Technology (IT) entry for the January 2026 course. A total of 15 vacancies are available for unmarried male and female candidates with qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, M.Sc (IT/CS), or related fields. Applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in English in Class X or XII and at least 60% aggregate in the qualifying degree. The online application process is open from 2nd August to 17th August 2025. Candidates should be born between 02 January 2001 and 01 July 2006. The selection process involves shortlisting based on academic marks, followed by SSB interview and medical examination. No application fee is required. Selected candidates will join as Sub Lieutenants and undergo training at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala. This is a golden opportunity for IT professionals to serve in the Indian Navy under Short Service Commission.
