Short Information: The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has officially announced
the Medical Officer (MO) Result 2025. Candidates who appeared in the ITBP MO recruitment examination can now check
their results, merit ranks, and download their individual scorecards from the official ITBP portal. This result
marks the completion of the written exam stage; shortlisted candidates may be called for document verification,
medical examination, and final selection. Ensure you verify your scorecard details, category-wise cutoff marks, and
follow ITBP’s guidelines for the next stages. Keep an eye on regional ITBP centers for updates on joining
instructions and appointment dates.

Super Specialist Medical Officer (Second in Command)
Candidates must have an MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized university, be registered with a
State Medical Council, and must have completed their compulsory rotating internship.
Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant)
Candidates must have a recognized medical qualification in allopathic medicine as per the Indian
Medical Council Act, 1956, and be permanently registered with the MCI/NMC or State Medical Council.
They should have completed a compulsory rotating internship. Additionally, they must hold a
Postgraduate (PG) Degree or Diploma in the relevant specialty and have at least 1.5 years of
experience after a PG Degree or 2.5 years of experience after a PG Diploma in that specialty.
Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant)
Candidates must have a recognized medical qualification in allopathic medicine as per the Indian
Medical Council Act, 1956. Those with qualifications listed in Part-II of the Third Schedule must
also meet the conditions in Section 13(3) of the Act. They must have permanent registration with
MCI/NMC or any State Medical Council before appointment in CAPFs & AR. Completion of a compulsory
rotating internship is required. Candidates currently undergoing internship can apply and appear for
the interview, but they must complete the internship before appointment.
